Anthony Robinson owns Skies & Scopes and writes all the content.
He started with DSLR photography around 2010, took to astrophotography in 2016, and then founded this website in 2017 to document his research and learnings.
He has been practicing and writing obsessively about astrophotography and astronomy ever since.
Away from Skies & Scopes, Anthony has written for Amateur Astrophotography and Dark Sky Travels magazines, as well as been quoted in outlets like Forbes, The Guardian, PetaPixel, and Digital Camera World.
All articles can be found within our hubs on Astrophotography and Astronomy.
He is particularly obsessive about researching gear and is known to spend far too long procrastinating on a buying decision rather than pressing head. This, therefore, lent itself well to creating in-depth objective research for others.
He currently uses a Nikon D750 camera with a Samyang 14mm f/2.8 lens and is focused on landscape astrophotography.
