About You
I’m a landscape astrophotographer based in San Pedro de Atacama since 2016.
Throughout this time, my focus has been on capturing the mesmerizing nights of Atacama through photographic expeditions and workshops.
I’ve also directed and contributed to audiovisual projects aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of astronomical heritage from a scientific cultural perspective.
I am guided by values that emphasize connecting with the natural environment, preserving the night sky against light pollution, and showcasing astrophotography as an art form.
My photography has been featured in media outlets such as National Geographic, NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day, Capture the Atlas, and Ladera Sur.
What gear do you use?
I use a Sony A7III camera with the Tokina 16-28mm f2.8 and Sigma 20mm f1.4 lenses.
In the future, I would like to astro modify my camera to capture H-alpha.
